Trilobites had compound eyes
They can see their surroundings in more details than most animals. They had stereoscopic (3D) images, homing in on a prey. Maybe more surprisingly, their eyes are made from their exoskeleton. Their made of rock, calcite. Each single eye had its own focal lens.
